2012 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 7,400 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 12 years to get that many views.

Most surprising tidbit of information — 4 of 5 of my most visited blogs were written in 2011!  And the #1 visited item was about the Easter Bunny!

I tried to blog once a week – and even though that didn’t always happen, being a mathematician (which is why I think all of these numbers are interesting), I’ll go with the average # of blogs and on average I posted once a week.  Not too bad.

Thanks to the helper monkeys for putting together the numbers – and of course to everyone who reads my musings and meanderings!
